After a very tiring but worthwhile Bohol Countryside Tour on our 2nd day in Bohol, we laid ourselves to rest in our comfortable accommodation at Darunday Manor, along Clarin Street in Tagbilaran City. We woke up with the sun already up in the sky. Since that day we're leaving from Bohol for Cebu City, we already packed our things up and made sure that everything's in place as we leave. At 11:00AM, we headed to Bohol Quality where we'll meet my godmother, Ninang D whom I've last met a year ago. She treated us for lunch in a restaurant named as "Payag". We spent time taking pics and had some time chatting.

Shortly after lunch, we went back to the hotel, settled our account, and went straight to the port via the hotel's port transfer. When we arrived at the port, we payed the terminal fees and the taxes and we settled ourselves inside the lounge, waiting for the fastcraft (Supercat) that will take us back to Cebu. 15 minutes before our slated departure time, the craft arrived and a few minutes before departure time, we're asked to get inside. We occupied the front seats and made ourselves comfortable. I personally got some quick naps during the whole course of the travel.

Past 4:00PM, we arrived in the Queen City of the South, Cebu City. This time, we're all by ourselves and we're not even familiar with the place (hahaha!). With our light baggage in hand, we confidently rode on a PUJ that will take us to SM City, where I'd be meeting my relatives. We took some long turns inside the vicinity of SM looking for their Passenger Lounge for our baggage until we finally got inside. We took some pictures while loitering at the mall. Finally, I was able to meet my relatives and dinner was free (yey!). It was indeed a sumptuous dinner at Golden Caurie inside SM City.

It was almost 10:00 PM when my relatives dropped us off somewhere near Osmena Circle to meet Julie's friend who will be with us in our Skywalk Adventure. Leaving our things on a boarding house, we headed to Crown Regency Hotel, took a ride via the elevator, until we reached 69th floor, where the adventure begins. I was actually palpitating because I'm afraid of heights but I was glad I was able to manage myself up there. We took the Skywalk Adventure, walking along the walls at the top, with our gears on. The view's really breathtaking and really beautiful having to witness wonderful Cebu City at night!;) It was really a dream come true for me being able to surpassed in the said challenge!;)

When the clock struck 1:00 AM, we immediately headed to the airport in Mactan. Since it's way too early and the check in counters were still closed, we looked for a place where we can comfortably rest. We checked in right away just as the counter opened at 4:00AM.

We arrived in Davao City past 6:00AM of March 4, 2011.
The entire 3-day escapade was great and we're filled with good memories to cherish for life!;)

7. Back in 2004, a friend threw her husband out because she found out that he was having cyber affairs/sex with 2 women in states FAR away from them. Do you think that cybersex is actually cheating? **Yes.

8. Do you have any suggestions for someone as to how to stay safe using a dating service? **Never give any specifics too soon and one should know the person first before giving out personal details.

Realizations (Again!)

I've got some realizations (again!) recently and THIS TIME, I hope it's gonna be a different thing - that I won't ever be looking back again on this.

The past few days, I submerged myself into discernment. I got a LOOOOOTTT of thoughts with me. Gathering all those, I've realized that I'm always putting myself into a loosing end when it comes to my personal issue with one person I used to treasure. Weighing on some facts, it generally told me that I did spend too much patience on it.

Getting an unsolicited advice from a man's point of view made me realized everything. I mean, he's really right to tell me that I should stop making that someone feel special when I don't get something in return. I've later gave some thoughts of what he's been telling me and yeah, he's right at that extent.

For now, I'm still on my trying moments. I hope I can finally realized everything and give a boost on myself more.

Friday Fill-Ins

Detachment

I'm on the verge of the detaching from people who I don't think aren't serious of building a genuine friendship with me. I was actually always a second best and not a priority. Most of the time, I am always forgotten especially when they get together as a group. I couldn't blame them though. Maybe it happened because they're just deemed to happen and would teach me a lesson. I realized that if they're really friends, they would really try their best to keep me. Aight?!? Well, I'm still observing these days on how it's like to evolve without them.

Thank You God For Giving Mom Into My Life!;)

Since the day I was born, I've already been thankful to mom for the gift of life, for bringing me out into this world. As years went by, I was never deprived of the love a mother can have to her child. Now that I'm already a grown up, still my mom's love for me has never changed. In fact, it has grown more deeply as we continually talk about life in general. The more years added into my life, the more I appreciate the bonding moments I shared with my mom and with the whole family as well. If I could choose an award for her, it would a 'Supermom' award cos she's in fact a supermom not only to us but also to everyone.

To my Mom on Mother's Day, I have this to say:

Happy Mother's Day to a teacher, a leader, a religious advocate, an adviser, a person w/ great humility, a good role model, a born-fighter, a listener, a great wife 2 my Dad, & a supermom for the 3 of us, all of which are rolled into one=my beloved Mama Babie!:) Thank you so much for loving us unconditionally & for consistently reminding us that we are your precious gems money can't buy. Finally, New Uniforms For Me!;)

In the hospital facility where I'm currently working, we're required to use our hospital nurse uniform being released by the Chief Nurse Office. The office did encourage to submit uniform style suggestions from the whole nursing population before they finally choose the style being chosen by the majority. This year, after more than two years of wearing our now old uniform, we're down to one great uniform style being posted near our bundy clock. The style is okay with a great embroidery on its sleeve. Whether I like it or not, I really should have myself this new uniform as part of our hospital protocol. Well, finally I'd be having my new uniform again which will be worn for two years!;)

After talking to some friends as to where their uniforms were made, I finally opted to have my uniforms done with a reliable dressmaker who also made my friends' hospital uniform. Last week, I met the dressmaker and she got my measurements. I am much excited bout this uniform because she mentioned she'll have my pants in a boot-leg style. What made me decide to settle with this dressmaker is the fact that she made uniforms at an affordable price. Well I can't wait to finally get my new set of uniforms come Sunday and wear them next week!;) By the way, I've some male colleagues who find it hard to look for tailors who can make male uniforms. What I did suggest to them is to check on http://www.blueskysrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Men so they could get an idea how their uniforms would be like. After all, there's no standard uniform for males in the facility we're in.

What more can I say? I'm just too excited to wear my uniform next week!

Bohol 2011 Escapade: Day 2

Becoming exhausted from our first day, plus the cool air inside our air-conditioned room in a quiet Dumaluan Beach Resort, made us slept roughly for about 5-6 hours. I was personally awakened on our 2nd day by my alarm clock that signaled me to take my daily pill. Upon seeing the room, I thought it was still dark at 6:05AM. When I got to check outside, the morning sunrise was already up. Lazily, I went back to where my spot was and cuddled my pillow again til my friends Julie and Ciara woke up. Since we'd be picked up by about 9:00AM on that day for our Bohol Countryside Tour, we hurriedly went out of the room and took time to feel the morning sunrise by the beach. We also found ourselves swimming under the not so sunny Panglao weather.

It was already past 9:00AM when we checked out from the resort with Mang Ondoy of Lovebohol Tours patiently waiting for us. We payed the remaining balance for our accommodation then hit the road for the most awaited part of our adventure - the Countryside Tour!;) Riding on a very comfy Red Toyota Vios Car, I can't help but really appreciate Bohol houses as we went along on our road trip. Our first stop for this day's tour --> The Sandugo Monument which is located in Bool, still a part of Tagbilaran City. Just like other tourists, we just took some quick pics since Mang Ondoy wanted us to reach the 11:30 Buffet Lunch in Loboc which is still a few minutes drive.

After staying for 10 minutes at Sandugo, we hit the road again on our way to Baclayon Church in Baclayon, Bohol. When we got there, we immediately got inside the church and get a glimpse of what's inside the old church. It's not my first time visit but I always find it a blissful experience whenever I'm there. Since I can't stay longer inside because I'm wearing a pair of shorts, we headed right away to the second level where the museum is located. It's so great to see religious items from long, long, ago being preserved inside. We're not able to take pics though because cam aren't allowed inside the premises of the museum. Before we left Baclayon church, we took the opportunity to take pics inside the church vicinity.

Since we wanted to arrive at Loboc River before 11:30AM, we headed to our next stop---> to visit Prony , a self-developed and well-trained phyton in Albur, Bohol. Believe me, it is the longest phyton my eyes had ever set at! During the time of our visit, Prony was sleeping and was visibly moving his body to move his bowel. We were told to get inside but because I do fear snakes (snakes of all sorts!), I dared not to get inside Prony's cage.

After visiting Prony in Albur, we drove our way to Loboc, to specifically visit Loboc River and to take our lunch at Loboc River's Floating Restaurant. With Mang Ondoy's assistance, we were able to reach the Loboc River right before 11:30AM. Mang Ondoy payed all the fees and we were ushered to Restaurant 1. Our stomachs were actually hungry at that time because we didn't take anything for breakfast. Seeing different dishes being served, we knew we were starving already. When the restaurant started to float (which was driven by a boat), we also started eating. Guess what? They got everything all-in! We feasted on crabs, chicken, veggies, and fruits while we enjoyed getting along with our river cruise traveling over Loboc river. When we're almost done eating, we stopped over a group of musicians near the river bank and we were entertained so well with their Boholano songs. They played ukuleles and even danced for us! These musicians got a warm applause from all the guests inside the restaurant. After the short entertainment, we were ushered back to the complex, got out of the restaurant, and prepared ourselves for our next stop --- the Chocolate Hills of Bohol.;)

It was actually Mang Ondoy's suggestion to go to Chocolate Hills first because of the foreseeable rainy weather in Carmen, where the Chocolate Hills is located. True enough, it rained while we we're still in Batuan, Carmen's neighboring town. When we reached the Chocolate Hills, it wasn't raining hard anymore. We immediately went up to the top having to climb to more than a hundred steps, thrown coins and rung the bells for our wishes, and took a lot of pics!;) Thank God, the rain already ceased when we're at the top. It was so surreal to be up at the top!

Our next stop after visiting the majestic Chocolates Hills of Bohol is the Butterfly Conservation Center. This sanctuary houses different kinds of butterflies from pupa, to cocoons to beautifully grown ones. There are tour guides responsible to guide us around and do some talks about butterflies. Colorful butterflies are really enticing to my eyes!;)

After visiting the Butterfly Sanctuary, we hit the road going to the Hanging Bridge in Loboc. On our way, we're able to pass by Bohol's Man-made Forest, a very cool area in a Bohol municipality. And what do you expect? We again took a few pics that oversees the great view of tall trees. The area is so cool and makes me think of camping, Lol. ;)

We then proceeded with our journey to the Hanging Bridge in Loboc. It took a while before we finally reached our destination. Well, there are also a lot of tourists out there. And guess what? I was so surprised to see two hanging bridges in there. Way back, there was only one. Perhaps another hanging bridge was built to avoid the bulk of traffic crossing on it. At the end of the bridge, there are people selling Bohol products and delicacies. We crossed the 2nd hanging bridge when we got back.;)

It was past 4:00PM and we're almost done. The last spot we visited was the Kanipaan Kingdom, the House of Tarsiers and Rare Animals. I only took the chance to take a pic of the tarsier unlike my two friends who took much time to see other rare animals inside. I am not really a fan of exotic and rare animals especially snakes, thus the reason why I stayed outside.;)

After that very tiring yet memorable tour, we went back to Tagbilaran City with so much joy in our hearts. Mang Ondoy dropped us at our official Tagbilaran Residence, the Darunday Manor along J. Clarin Street. We checked in and left our bags and stuff, and we headed to my Lola's house in Remolador Extension. After that quick visit to my 'lolas', we went to Island City Mall in Da-o and we bought some initial pasalubongs. It was 7:00PM when we got out of the mall. I toured them in some spots in the city - we went to Tagbilaran City Port that shows a great view of the Bohol Tropics at night, and also went to the Plaza, making them witness its great colorful fountain, plus a good sight of the Tagbilaran City Cathedral.

Day 2 of our Bohol stay is such a fun-filled experience for us. ;)
