Car Becoming A Necessity

Owning a car is like being practical these days. It is not anymore a luxury but it has become a necessity especially in countries where public utility vehicles are nowhere to be found. Most of the people I know have resorted to buy cars. It is not just merely limiting to buying brand new cars but for practical reasons, a lot have opted to buy used cars for as long as they're in good running condition. In our city alone, there have been a lot of used cars for sale and are on display along the streets. I am just wondering how much does each car costs. If I were to decide I'd simply buy a used car for as long as it can serve me best.

Bro's Birthday 2009

Yesterday, my only brother celebrated his 36th birthday. To celebrate it with, family prepared foods to serve our stomachs. It was just a simple celebration but it was all worth it because the whole family celebrated it with him plus his darling daughter was also with us last night. It was just a simple celebration attended by close family members and friends. To my bro, I wish you all the best. Hope you are geared toward accomplishing your life's goals. Stay healthy and may you stop smoking na (peace!). Again, Happy Birthday Bro Jem.

Gone Addicted with Facebook

My brother is currently addicted to Facebook games. Funny cos it's just now that he's really into such games. I bet he has joined through a lot of games than the games I joined in. Every time I look into my Facebook wall, most updates are his. Well at least as far as I know he's gone addicted with them than anything else dangerous.

I'm Not Gonna Complain =)

I used to complain about things, why this can be this and why it isn't that. However, I learn to appreciate why I need not complain on things. I learn to accept why things have to be this way. I realized that perhaps I am just capable to handle such matters worth complaining about because all these have been laid on me. For now, I'd say I am one heck of a lucky person being given a lot of responsibilities to attend to because some people believe that I can! =)

Thursday Thunks: Dying, Buying, Eating, & More

Welcome to the September 10th version of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by
Kimber, the number 999 and the color of a butterfly sitting on a red rose.

1. A 90 year old man's dying wish in South Carolina was to be buried in his car. Link If you were told tomorrow you have 3 weeks to live, would you have any dying wishes or something special done before you died? *** Yes. I wanna spend that three (3) weeks with a special someone in the beach.
2. Do you pay for more stuff using a credit/debit card or cold hard cash? *** I always pay using a cold hard cash cos I don't personally own a credit card except for the supplementary card given by my sis which I so rarely use.

3. What's cuter- a baby lizard or a baby snake? *** Any other choices? I am not really a big fan of these two but since they're down to two options perhaps I'd prefer a baby lizard than a baby snake.

4. You go out to eat by yourself at a restaurant. While waiting for your food do you people watch & easedrop on others conversations, read a book, use a laptop or chat with people around you? *** When I am eating out alone, I usually just watch other people come and go in a restaurant while waiting for my food. I don't mind what they're talking about, hehehe..

5. If you see someone walking around with toilet paper stuck to their shoe, do you tell them or just laugh? *** Perhaps I'd surely tell them about it.

6. You are talking to someone you just met but you can't understand them at all because of their accent. Do you tell them you can't understand them or just smile and nod? *** Of course, I'd tell them to repeat what they're saying. =)

7. Mudfest! Park filled with pools of mud and an obstacle course of mud. Do you go and play in the mud? *** If everybody is doing it, why not? =)

8. Have you ever had a headache so bad it effected your vision? ***I had experienced what I considered as terrible headache attacks before but they were never that worst compared to some where it has to do something with my vision (I hope and pray I won't reach that point).

9. Would you fit in more with the circus, Hollywood, Broadway, or comedy circuit types? ***I guess I'd fit more in a circus, but I'm just gonna watch and not to be among those participating in it.

Ten On Tuesdays: 10 Bad Habits You Can’t Break

So far, these are the 10 Bad Habits I can't break:

1. Nagging when I smell some cigarette smokes in the vicinity of our house
2. Getting to work really on time, say I always punch in at 6:58AM when work starts at 7:00AM.
3. Complaining deep inside when work load seems to be too heavy to handle.
4. Staying too long online which does strain my eyes.
5. Being too nice to a guy until this guy allows me to get drawn to him.
6. Eating too much at times.
7. Too OC on some things.
8. Skipping breakfast.
9. Sleeping with the TV on.
10. Falling secretly to someone whom I always consider a friend.

No Rice Policy...

Since I was in Bohol until a few days back, I noticed that I ate too much! I became a voracious eater of anything I crave about. When I checked on my weight, I noticed that I gained some pounds. Figuring out that I did gain some weight, I instantly thought of trying to dislike rice once and for all. I actually started my no-rice policy two days ago. At Pizza Hut, I did not order any rice meal. The morning after, I only had bread with pancit canton and I did not eat lunch. However, I failed to fulfill my promise during dinner time because I felt like I was starving to death. I only ate few spoonfuls but promised that I really need to adhere with my no-rice policy. I just hope I'd become successful with this quest.
